Building Games That Matter

Ever wonder what goes into creating those engaging slot mechanics or poker tournaments that keep players coming back? Our students don't just learn theory—they build actual game features from scratch.

Take last semester's capstone project. Students created a complete multiplayer blackjack system with real-time betting, spectator mode, and social features. The kind of stuff you'd see in commercial apps, but built by people who started with basic JavaScript knowledge just months earlier.

Meet Your Mentors

Darren Kowalczyk, senior game developer and instructor

Darren Kowalczyk

Senior Developer & Lead Instructor

Darren spent eight years building casino games at major studios before joining our teaching team. He's the guy who'll show you why certain animation timing makes slot reels feel satisfying, or how to optimize card dealing algorithms for smooth gameplay.

What You'll Actually Build

Forget about building another todo app. By week three, you're already implementing random number generators and probability systems. Week eight? You're debugging multiplayer synchronization issues and optimizing graphics performance.

Our students graduate with portfolios featuring working slot games, poker rooms, and social features that actually function. No mock-ups or placeholder content—real games with real complexity.

The gaming industry needs developers who understand both technical implementation and player experience. That's exactly what our curriculum delivers—not through lectures, but through building actual games that work.

Ready to Start Coding?

Our next cohort begins September 15th, 2025. Class size is limited to 16 students to ensure everyone gets proper attention and feedback on their code.

Before you apply, make sure you're comfortable with basic HTML and CSS. We'll handle the rest, including all the JavaScript complexity that makes casino games actually function.
